From the documentation, it seems to me that the GPSGAMMA and GPSSKIN indicators should show when autoswitching is activated - I may have misunderstood how it works, so my assumption is this:
Press DAYNIGHTGAMMASKIN once - manually switch to day skin, both indicators off
Press DAYNIGHTGAMMASKIN again- manually switch to night skin, both indicators off
Press DAYNIGHTGAMMASKIN again- turn on GPS auto switch, both indicators on.
However I can't get the indicators to come on - they always stay off.
I've tried to duplicate the code from this post ( Post from Chuck), but still no joy..
Have I misunderstood what they do?, or is this somethnig that hasn't made it into the version of RR I'm using (Oct 06)?

you need to set it up in rr.ini
Sorry, I haven't explained myself very well - The GPS autoswitching is set up in RR.ini and is working well (I haven't tested change over time yet, but I get a day skin in the day and a night skin at night), and the manual skin switch button is working.
The only thing that isn't working is the indicator to show if switching is in auto or manual mode (or perhaps I misunderstand what it's meant to show?)

Solved it!
I had to set AUTOSWITCH to FALSE in the general.ini of the day and night skins.
Now all works perfectly! My favourite thing about RR is that it isn't easy and makes you work hard to set everything up - it makes it very satisfying when it all works!
