    My Thank you to you

In my continuous efforts to keep my various alter ego's in check and stay humble, I just wanted to send out a thank you to all the people who used any of the LSX series of skins, for reporting bugs, requesting features and donations.

Im a firm believer of the best way to learn something is by doing it! Ive been a professional 3D artist for about 7 years, but ive always wanted to learn to eventually become a full fledged programmer. Before i started creating lsxvoid i couldn't script my way out of a paper bag(unless it was maxscript), 6 months ago any new feature i wanted in RR, i would think about, then immediately post a feature request hoping someone else would take the interest to do it.
The last few features ive wanted though, ive created my self with scripts.

    -Directory player

-5disk changer with song position memory

-voice recorder with ability to send the recording to an email fully integrated into RR and soon the ability to record any audio playing (xm,streaming etc)

-text notes fully integrated into RR with ability to send note as an email

-File browser (collaboration with JohnWPB) fully integrated into RR

    -flicker integration

Some of these are features ive wanted in RR for months, and with rrcode and autoit they are now fully working features. The latter 4 unreleased.

Although i know im barely even touching the surface of scripting and programing, and what ive done so far is categorically basic, but im one step closer to my goal and thats what matters to me.

So thanks to guino for putting up with tons of PM's from me, and everyone who has taken an interest in the work that im doing. Maybe in a few years ill even have my own collection of real programs for things i think currently suck on PC's.

And thank you for your contributions to the community; as well as Guino, JohnWPB and the rest of you guys (you know who you are).

Although a newbie here, I have been following the board for about a year now and finally got around to setup my CarPC. On that note, I've been inspired to develop a skin of my own for some time now (inspired by the many skins available) but honestly don't have the time. Hopefully, I can get off my a** and at least start learning the workings of the skinning process...

^ totally agree, you've got the talent LS. You'll only get better and better with some more experience and I'm so excited to see what you can come up with next. The main reason I did a car PC vs. a high end headunit is because of the customization possible thanks to the great community here. Without people like you and Guino (and all the others I'm forgetting off the top of my head) none of this would be possible.

I have seen the Awesome work that you do and great ideas you come up with, eventhough I have yet to actually use one of your skins. None the less, you are a great contributer to this community..

Thanks for your hard work on improving the software man. If you like scripting, I think you should take a look at writing some plugins too -- VB6 is very easy and similar to most scripting languages and the extension plugin interface simple too.
