I'm heading in to work soon so once there I'll figure out a skin to replace the iDrive skin for now and get the program for ready for testing/release. I just have one additional feature that I'm trying to work out (lol actually while writing this post I thought of another thing I want to add, so make that two more features

)..

Okie Doke, the RR Skin Installer has been released (see the first post). Let me know what you all think or if you encounter any issues. Cheers.

THE NEXT GEN SKIN INSTALLER (If you downloaded the old, please grab this one, it fixes a few bugs and is just plain better)

Ok, the new version has been uploaded and is now available. It'll be the same link as in the first post.

Changes:
1. Fixed a bug that was pushing CPU usage to 100%. The program now uses next to nothing.

2. Completely rebuilt the GUI. You can now select the different skinsets inside the program and see the changes. Preview and install all the skins without having to exit the program. Progress bar and dynamic text inform you of what's occurring.

3. Changed the skinsets to hold 10 skins per.

Skinsets updated. Download the two in the first post and drop them in your Skin Installer folder or copy & paste the contents into the two in your folder.

i get an error when installing the skin installer saying:
7za.exe: This file contains invalid data
You will have to run this utility again to completely install Road Runner Skin INstaller

When exactly are you getting this error? Because there isn't an installer for the SkinInstaller. Just a ZIP archive with the program file inside. Just extract to a folder, anywhere, but preferably in your Road Runner directory,
i.e.
C:\Program Files\Road Runner\RRSkinInstaller\

Then just run the program, preview the skins... and download the skin you want.

Are you referring to the Install Process of Installing the SKIN?

If so, what skin were you trying to install?

well...

when i go to : http://w3bma5t3r.com/modules.php?nam...op=getit&lid=9
and click "road runner skin installer" it downloads RR_Skin_Installer.exe

I click the .exe
it comes up with "
welcome to the road runner skin installer program

I click next>
it comes up with the info screen saying its created by you and is designed to help people install skins

I click next>
it prompts me to select a version to install: Triton, LSX, Simplistique or Chucks.

Doesnt matter which i select
Then i press next>
select the rr skins dir

click next>
then finish

then i get the error:
Road runner skin installer has noit been totally installed because of the following reasons:
7za.exe This file contains invalid data
YOu will have to run this utility again to completely install Road Runner Skin INstaller

I click Exit
