road runner freezing on startup :(

i just installed a fresh copy of xp on my mac mini because my old copy wouldnt work with my bluetooth for some reason. this version of xp lets me use bluetooth fine but when i start up road runner it freezes :(. first i put my whole road runner folder in my programs folder so i wouldnt lose anything and it didnt work i deleted that and installed a fresh copy of road runner. it still wont start so here is the debug log:

please help i was up all night trying to figure it out

When you reinstalled... did you check your device mangler to ensure all (ALL) hardware was completely recognized and that you have all appropriate drivers installed? The log would appear to indicate (admittedly, I'm not familiar with RRs error log) that your soundcard is not recognized by RR.

Another suggestion would be to get some sleep. We've all been there on allnighters and I've almost always found that the answer comes to me after I grab some ZZZZ.

Check your menu.skin file. Those are the first lines.
MEDIACAR Skin
MEDIACAR F-CNS Skin
Menu_off.jpg,Menu_off.jpg,Menu_down.jpg,Menu_down. jpg

Make sure you have all the images for that menu.

The lines for the soundcard don't mean anything. Your soundcard does not suport treble and bass.

gah! it wont work and everything is in place. :(

i reinstalled XP tablet ed. and it worked fine :) i just need a way to hide that little left/right click mouse icon

I was thinking of trying this... how do you find your boot times with Tablet Edition??? Glad to hear you got it going!

about the same with normal xp. i still cant get my mac mini to come out of hibernation without freezing and then restarting. this only happens when i use my p1900 to start my computer and it only freezes and then restarts once i touch the screen to try to do anything in RR (or whatever it open). i think someone is wrong with my p1900 but i dont know what

Make sure you have the latest Flash player installed.
