idrive & Iguidance help!

When loading my gps, i get the warning error and my taskbar shows.

When I go into Full screen mode IGuidance opens up a window of its own on top of RR.

I've tried ignative=true in RR.ini and adding / to external_gps.skin ..... any help is greatly appreciated!

is this v3 or v4?

Do you have GPS set to external in RRConfig? Do you have the correct window names?

this is V3. My GPS is set to External and window name is IGuidance.

You must use the nowarning parameter
gpspath=C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance Europe\iGuidance.exe|nowarning

You don't need the nowarning parameter as the latest RR already add that, but isn't hurt if you do it.

Have you set iGuidance as the GPS in the iDrive configuration screen?

sorry to bring up an old thread but I'v never really fixed this issue.

Enforcer, in my RRConfig there are only 4 options (Map Monkey, Mappoint, External, & Menu). Right now I have it set to external.

That's fine, however you also have to choose iGuidance in the idrive config screen.

Click on Settings on the main menu and then click on the config button.

There will then be a drop down menu which will have different Navigation programs, select iGuidance and then click Apply.
