    Today is 07 Sept 2013 (GPStime)

    Today is 07 Sept 2013

    At least with gpstime=true it is

    And I could not see any change with
    gpsusadate=true
    or
    gpsusadate=false

    .......this is kind of dangerous as it is not a just a display issue

    RR has just changed your system time to 20XX were XX is the day number.

    I had the same problem. My time was somewhere 2023. Of course I did set the time back but then I got a severe problem with windos. I always get an error saying the time was set back to fool the system of security reasons. Could not resolve the error even with India Microsoft Support, so I bought Vista. Since then I stayed away from GPS time.

    Also be warned that Centrafuse & Streetdeck will stop working. I know there is a very irate Centrafuse customer on here because he set his clock ahead for debugging and centrafuse disabled itself.

    till doesnt fix the issue, but more than M$ can be screwed up.

    Is this with the new 09/09/07 version?

    I would need a GPS data log to investigate the issue here.. :| Yes... In most cases, this can be solved by setting:

    gpstime=true
    gpsusadate=true

    Basically, there seems to be some inconsistancy with the format of the GPS time provided by some devices where the information is in a "non-standard" format.

    Oh -- and to be sure:
    gpsusadate=false does absolutely nothing -- only by removing the line you get different results.

    Maybe put a check in to make sure the change isn't by to much.
    I mean anyone who has got the time wrong by hours rather than just a few minutes has other issues the setting the time by GPS wont solve.

    Well, I was actually thinking it would be nice for anybody whose MB isn't keeping the clock anymore for some reason -- Maybe this option should be made as in to display the GPS Time as the "TIME" code in RR only -- leaving windows alone.

    Don't get me wrong, it's a good idea, something I want to add to mine, but my point is.

    It would normally only need to make changes by seconds, maybe minutes or in some rare occasions hours, but it shouldn't really need to change it by days, months or certainly not years.

    So a small check to see it doesn't make too big a change. Or if it is going to it asks for permission first.
