Thread: strange problem with flash and customdl

SETLIST IS WORKING. BECAUSE LISTPOS updates, right? So FLASHBROWSE would be the problem? on my textfield displaying CUSTOMDL, nothing changes (a flash textfield updates automatically).

New strategy:
first button setlist
second button FLASHBROWSE

I'm surprised to see "faux" and "vrai" statements. Did you choose to display it in french?

I just reboot and it's working fine now.
I really don't know what could prevent setlist OR flashbrowse to succeed.
I'm running xp64, maybe this could be the issue; but usually no problem with it, just running or not running.
So it might work fine when it is on the carpc.
Could you try the skin for me and tell me if it works on your machine?

send me the screen/skin and I'll try it sure...

PS: The french stuff is a VB localized thing.

sure you didn't change anything ? could you be running anything outside RR interfering with the working of Flash ? I got your skin files to test, but I'm unsure what I should do in it and how it should behave/what it is not doing right.. I need more detail on what I'm supposed to do in it.

Nothing's changed that Im aware of. Sometimes, if I changed winamp option "load metadata on load" to load metadata when visible", it would come back. Anyway, it's been working fine for a while now. Still using fscommand("SETLIST;"+_labelnum+||+FLASHBROWSE"). Still a mystery.
The button on the left are the menu buttons. First one is home page (playlist + widgets) , second one is for dirlist, clicking on the albumart will give you 3 options (browse, add, play). That's the first one I was having problem with.

After a few days with no problem, CUSTOMDL browsing suddenly stopped working while I was working on my icons.
Question: Does winamp affect CUSTOMDL browsing, because when I restart rr without it, it will be back working perfectly. Coincidence?

P.S: I'm using winamp5, but tried winamp 295 too with no difference, and I want %album% in the playlist

final thoughts:
The only solution I found to solve the problem is to, instead of flash browsing, add what's selected with SETLIST. It will then load all my music library and nearly crash winamp and roadrunner, but will endup adding all those songs.
i restart rr, and then it works again perfectly.
voilà. if anyone had this problem.
