    mpg4 video

    hiya i am using roadrunner with the digital fx skin i have managed to get roadruner to play the .3gp files in the video section but cant seem to get mpg4's to play.
    how do i go about sorting this out

    Not a skin or RR issue, you need the correct codec installed on your computer. Will the file play outside of RR?

    Have you defined the file type in rr config?

    What he said, if plays outside of RR it should play in RR. With media player classic I use ffdshow codec.

    yes it plays outside of rr and it is defined in the rr.ini as well

    WHAT app are you using to play the file OUTSIDE RR ? If you're using Mplayer, VLC or some other player with a built-in decoder, you still need the codec installed to play it in RR.

    I suggest you install FFDSHOW following the FAQ thread.
