Riderunner failing to split combined commands from plugin into separate commands

    As title says.

RideRunner seems to have an issue with splitting a double command from the Trafficam plugin.

This command worked fine in RoadRunner 13/10/2008 but doesn't work in RideRunner 19/08/2009 and I assume the lastes version as JohnWPB brought this to my attention.

Command that is sent from the plugin is "load;trafficcam_search.skin||rrtc_onclclick" this is after the plugin intercepts an onclick event. ProcessCommand is 3.

As I said this work in RoadRunner and other multiple commands seem to work fine from the plugin.

It may have something to do with the onclick event being hijacked (or not)

I have PM'd Goce once again to look into the permissions on it... I have not heard back yet. It's strange how you can not see it as a moderator, but standard level users have been posting in there. I bet he set the permissions for Blue, Guino, Mitch and I manually, and set permissions for the standard level, and forgot to add it for all mod's or something.

    10/20/2009 10:18:43 PM: Executing: load;radio_player.skin
10/20/2009 10:18:43 PM: Que Exec: True, radio_player.skin, "ONSCREENCHANGE", False
    10/20/2009 10:18:43 PM: Que Exec: True, radio_player.skin, "RTune;106.1", False
    10/20/2009 10:18:43 PM: Leave Exec: False, radio_player.skin, RTune;106.1, False
    -Thanks

I assume JohnWPB is using the lastest as he is the one who brought it to my attention.

John can you confirm which version you are using?

Mitch, it doesn't load the screen

it comes up with the following (courtesy of John again)

It does handle some double commands just not this one sent after I hijack an onclick event.

And as I said in the first post, works fine in RoadRunner.

    Ok, i see the issue

"Onxxx" events where NEVER intended or allowed to be overridden inside a plugin
we added code (while back) that EVERY plugin would see the ONevent so that it can REACT to it...

    proper coding intended to be
you catch the ONxxxx Event, and do Execute("load;trafficcam_search.skin||rrtc_onclcli ck")

by doing a reference replace in the plugin like you did, actually causes other plugins NOT to see the ONxxx event
which is NOT what we want...

I am adding some code to assure all plugins see the ONxxx event, and still allow u to do a processcommand=3 override
    -Thanks

Well I don't just randomly replace it. I check that it is in a specific form before hijacking it.

There should be no other plugins that need to know the onclclick event if it is in one of my plugins form/screen/.skin whatever you want to call it.

However I will change that to an execute and see how it goes.

Edit. Ok that works in RoadRunner, I'll try it in RideRunner later

    Ok,

the new code is added, you can "hijack" the ONevents, it will queue up your new command
AND it will NOT destroy the ONEvent for the next plugin

so... you dont have to change your code if you dont really want to

the whole idea was that ANY ONEvent say "ONSUSPEND" should be seen by ALL plugins, and even if u did an Exectbl translation, EVERY plugin would see the "ONSUSPEND"
    -Thanks

I already have for the new versions.

it worked in RideRunner as well. So I will leave it as an sdk.execute (hmm, or will I?)

<goes to check out new exe>
