seems like you set RR to run at a specific resolution -- likely with less colors than it should. Try disabling that option in rrconfig (or by removing the resolution= line from RR.INI).
I have installed RR on eeepc and it is working fine, but as eee it is not suitable for skin editing I have installed it on desktop PC.
But after starting RR on desktop something is not wrong, not only with RR but with whole screen. I`m using SyncMaster 920NW

I have removed that line from ini, and now is fine. Thanks Guino!
