This is something to do with the List display in RR.. what do you have loaded as playlist in winamp ? is that "projection" file one of your mp3s ??

I can add preventions in the list object to make it not give you that error, but it definitely won't fix your problem if we can't find what's causing it..

Also, I'm assuming you're getting that error as soon as you click to go into the audio player screen... have you tried a different skin ??

Please let me know as I want to find out what's goin on...

I tried MediaCar before RR and got the error when trying to launch the app. I imagine if you removed your sound card and tried to run MediaCar, you'd get the same error. I believe I got the same error with RR before installing a sound card. It'd probably do the same for RR because they use the same foundation right? Anyways, maybe that'll help you troubleshoot.

If you hava a buggy skin that could definitely happen. I'm going to add some prevention against that.. (recheck your posts..)

Also, I want to point out RR has nothing of MediaCar, I have even tested RR on a computer with no sound card and it did NOT give me any issue, but then again it was one of the latest versions.

the default skin works but their is a white bar and the text is messed up on the top. Any idea why the alpine skin won't work? Ill be on msn later. Max@webdogpro.com

Do you have the correct "LCD", "Arial Narrow" and "Tahoma" Fonts installed ?? it seems that you're missing a font by the look of your screenshot..

hmmm i beleve i have them all. I just tryed loading the amber skin since its been moded and it will play music but it just wont show any text. hehe. Im gona go put this all on a cd and load it up in the car and see what happens.

Edit: now the blue one is working same problem with no text.

I've only had reports of the "Text" not showing up when the Font is not installed correctly... There's a whole thread about it (Correct Install Method or something)..

Well i loaded it up in my car with the Alpine Blue and it worked great!... (not the updated one you just posted but the Installer one) Ill still help figure out why its not working on my home pc since it seems to be effecting others.

Yeah.. that's the whole discussion between Bryan and More Mods... (they're testing the installer).. I am like 99% sure it has something to do with the fonts.. Your screen shots showed messed up fonts and such... :/ Sometimes a simple restart is enough to register the "missing" fonts..
