Load up RR, volumn show 0, but music sound is coming out fine and loundness is at 15% as suppose.
Click on either VOL UP or DOWN, the volumn is set back to 0. If I keep click VOL UP, the volumn is slowly going up. Currently it map to master volumn.

Go into RRConfig and make sure your Master volume is mapped to the "Master Vol" line. If so, your sound card probably doesn't support a Master Mix volume, so you should map it say to the Wave volume or to all lines.. Any sound card that doesnt have a master volume line, needs the master volume mapped. If you're unsure about your sound card not having a master mix volume, look at/show me your debug log file..

The below indicates to me your sound card does not allow for Master Mix Volume control:

    2/16/2005 9:28:45 AM: Master Vol: Volume Control/4
2/16/2005 9:28:45 AM: No Master Volume
    2/16/2005 9:28:45 AM: GetLineControl Failed: 401

You should either use the master volume map to say the Wave Line, or try to get a different driver for your card.. what card is this anyway ? seems very unusual.. probably part of the reason why it doesn't have a very standard windows mixer interface ..

It's on a DELL OptiPlex GX400 machine integrated SoundMax.
I have no idea what the hell it is.
Don't put too much time into it cuz this is my dev machine. Unless other people have the same problem then, well . ... that's different.

It's not really about time.. it's about what can or can't be done.. your sound card simply doesn't allow for a Master MIX volume (as most newer cards do). Either that or it doesn't use a standard mixer line to control it. I have done all that can be done to better support this card: allowing users to MAP the master volume to control a single line of the soundcard (the wave line for instance). that way those volume buttons/sliders that usually control the "master mix" volume, will work to control that specific line of your sound card. Alternatively, you can also map the master volume to control ALL available lines of the soundcard at once..
