tell winamp to not "always be on top"

I believe.
On my RR installation, when I select a music to play it doesn't play. At startup winamp appears and, even if in RRconfig it's set "hide Winamp" it remain on top. Within RR if I "double click" on a song it will play...but within winamp!

also, make sure you only have one winamp copy running and that RR runs it.. if more than one copy runs, you may be controlling the wrong one (thus the funcsions won't respond).

I have the same problem. Winamp is not set to be Always on Top, and Winamp is not running when Road Runner is launched.
Mare sure also that (if using winamp 5) you must NOT use a modern skin -- Use a CLASSIC skin, or the hide option won't work.

I am using the latest winamp 5 with the Classic skin.
Maybe I'll give an older version a try.
Show me your RR.INI file, chances are you just don't have the correct winamp path OR have more than one winamp running...Originally Posted by stoodo

Thanks for all the help!
Attached is the ini file. (renamed .txt)
You'r INI seems to be ok (as long as you have winamp.exe on c:\program files\winamp\) .. can you take a screen shot of the issue ? Also, you can try running winamp first (manually) then running RR to see if it works.. it should even if your winamp path is incorrect.

I uninstalled and reinstalled winamp and the music plays just fine now. Weird.
When I open Road Runner, Winamp opens and stays in the Taskbar.
Should it do that or should it just open as a process?
