    dlink mic mute bug ?

unsure if its just me or not, but wiped my carputer today, fresh install, stuck roadrunner on, managed to get it working with my dlink, but I needed to untick mute under mic in the volume control panel to get any sound. I have set mic in the settings, is it ment to untick it by its self ?

Also, \i cant tune to a few channels as the tuner goes past them.. ie.. I want to tune to 97.4, but the tuner jumps from 97.3 to 97.5 I have tried to manually input the 97.4, but it just jumps to 97.3 after a second or so.. On the plus side, i'm in my car now typing this so my wireless is working.. lol

    cheers

What on earth is this station doing at 97.4 .. ? Comminication standards only allow for stations at ODD decimal points (.1, .3, .5, .7 or .9) everything else is not supposed to exist -- this is a way to prevent interference between stations, in fact I have a few stareo/amps that do not allow those frequencies to be set either. Many Car Radios are like that too. I can't simply believe there's a station at that frequency.. chances are you're trying to set 97.4 and the station is actually 97.3 or 97.5 -- that's why I made this "feature"...

If you're absolutely sure, that you have that radio at 97.4 it may just be a pirate station for all I know, but I can add an option to allow for EVEN ending stations -- this will most definitely result in "fake" stations detection when searching stations "around" a well signaled station.

yeah I've done alittle more testing, it doesnt seem to untick / tick the mic at all.. also a couple of other bits.. Please dont think i'm complaining.. as its awesome, I can now listen to the radio and drive along knowing its not going to blue screen.. I've enabled hibernation again.. so boot times are down things are just getting better and better :-). O yeah the other two things..

    1. When listerning to radio, can you disable (.visual = false) for the track number as it still shows up.
    2. When clearing the playlist, and you get it to stop the present playing track. reason being when you then choose or do a playlist on the fly the first playing song is still the one from the cleared list, and not the one in the list, then it moves onto number 2, and misses number 1

I understand.. I'll make an option to set frequencies at .1 intervals... sad to know some of my radio equipment doesn't work in UK...

I should have made the tracknumber show the same as "presetnumber" .. if I didn't I need to fix it.
The only reason why I didn't make the song stop when clearing playlist is because there'd be some "empty" time playing nothing until you select something.. but it is the bet option really... I'll add that..

I've added the all frequencies option on the latest release. Also the MIC is not a "bug" it's just that some sound cards simply don't allow for muting/unmuting the Microphone by the normal mute function... anyway, if you have this issue, you can simply use the Line_in plugin (now supported)... but using the DLink it really doesn't matter if the line is unmuted/muted because I can turn it on/off by software.
