Yeah, I had that problem too. I got it after I changed a setting in RR config. It bugged the life out of me for a couple of days. Everything went back to normal after I changed the setting back in RR config. I can't remember off hand which one it was but I'll check it out when I get in the car next and let you know.Originally Posted by Tsleon

Ok, I think the problem occurred when I had the 'Reduce Sound Volume to' option checked in RR config. I seem to remember unchecking it and the problem went away. I recently updated to Guino's latest release and have just tried to re-create the problem but it didn't happen. So, either that issue has been fixed in the latest release or I've remembered it all wrongOriginally Posted by ITL

i unchecked "reduce volume ??%" checkbox
O thank god others had this too.. I thought it was only me...
so this "reduce volume" checkbox is in the RR config?
yes it is
add this line to your RR.ini and it should fix it.
exitmute=false

i have joost invites, just hit me up for one.
I'm having a strange issue but its not rr causing the problem,it seems to be windows causing it.
If i shut down from RR all is ok on restart,if i just turn off the key and let my M2 turn it all off when i resume i have sound from windows but Winamp volume slider is at 0 (winamp main window volume slider),ie no sound from RR.
Is there anything i can do to combat this?
You can save/restore presets for those weird issues.. this is the kind of stuff that happens normally if windows starts closing applications before RR has a chance to propperly close them..
Change on your "SHUTDOWN" button to this:
"!PRESET;STARTVOL||SHUTDOWN"
and this in RRConfig's start command:
"PRESET;STARTVOL"
It should save and restore the volumes when shutting down/starting RR. You can add that bit in front of the shutdown command to the exit/quit/restart commands as well if you'd like.
