winamp plays when in video mode

alright. the video works, but now it seems like roadrunner has highjacked my audio. I am using an M-audio Delta 44 and when I start RoadRunner it says the volume is all the way down, when I turn it up, it works fine. my WMP9 is all the way up, not muted, and won't play audio, and neither will winamp when it's not opened through RoadRunner. I went into the sound properties for the audio interface, and it is all the way up, but it still doesn't work. what can i do :O

ummm... I really haven't messed with audio here... My first guess would be to make sure there's nothing muted in the mixer. then my next guess would be to check if you're running the same winamp in and out of RR, and verify they're using the correct output devices... The last thing I'd do is double check you haven't accidently set RR to mute any audio lines in RRConfig.. this is pretty weird... I never head of it working in RR and not in Windows (I have heard the opposite).

I changed the "map master volume to control line": to "all lines" from "master volume" and everything works now. it's an audio interface more than just a sound card, so that makes it much different to work with.

umm.. not really.. I know more of OpenGL than DirectX... but even there it's been awhile.. most of the stuff I do is hardware-software integration, database etc...
