    volume slider

Might have been mentioned previously, but my mediacar skin has a slider as the only volume control (no + / - buttons). It looks right if you go into audio for example and change the volume, then go back to the main screen, but you can't click/drag to alter the volume.

If anyone wants to have a look at my skin to help me that would be great.

Sliders have 2 (TWO) areas defined -- one for DISPLAY and one for CLICKING, your CLICKING area is probably not defined right and that's why you can only SEE the slider but not mess with it. Look at Skin commands.txt to find details on the slider definition.

I see what you mean, and thanks for your help. It seems that the volume slider clicking works differently to mediacar though. Say the vol is at 100% and i click (touch) about 25%, it would jump to that and I could slide it (mediacar users should know what I mean). In RR, i have to click and hold and wait for it to (slowly) go down to that level. Is this something that was written because the mediacar method was not liked? Or is it just that nobody has a problem because they use buttons?

There are buttons to control the sliders on RR's skins (tipically) so this is one reason... the other one is I hated when I pressed a slider (sometimes by accident) and it jumped directly to that position -- when lowering the volume it isn't big deal, but when raising the volume you can never tell how loud the music will actually be when you jump directly into a volume. By making smaller adjustments you can hear the volume raising/lowering until the point you are comfortable with it.
