Problem reading phonbooks...

I have the same problem: last road runner binaries, and the last free phone control.
Phone control works fine, but road runner is not able to read from the phone, only from the sim card.

Sorry for a late reply but I was stupid enough to write the message the same day as my vacation started and left without any further notice to on the board...

And how sweet isn't it to be back on 10mbit and don't have to use ferking 9600 dial-up connection via mobile (yupp I do have GPRS but I forgot the Siemens software at home...)

As I stated before I have done a complete reinstall of the machine and didn't save the log files...

I'll apply the logs tomorrow if you would like to have them, but as stated in another message I guess it does have something todo with the translation of "TEL",..... which it looks like either RR of Phoco doesn't make to the phone.

Is there any update on this issue because with the latest RR binary it has gotten worse. Now it does not even show the correct name once I get an incoming call

I got my phone back.. it just takes loads of time to test/tweak this stuff.. so I'll have to find time before I can work on it.. I was also waiting to see what hematec came up with.. he said he was working on the SMS stuff...

Guino , hows this going or is it a dead end now?

I used to be able to add a manual address book using the new location setting in RR config.But in the latatest update it does not come back with anything.

Any tips?

This should all be resolved right now. But nothing you do in RR will change what you have in the phone. If you want to have manual contacts added/saved (on the computer), you need to setup an addressbook file -- which RR will import from the phone then use from that point on, up to when you press reload from the phone.
