I'm having the same problem as Mad Ad (I think). Resume/autoplay miss sometimes after restart/startup. I have Sony XA-300 USB sound out powered by my headunit, so the soundcard is disconnected often.
Experimenting with START/CLOSEWINAMP to reset USB Audio.

Also, a suggestion...Extend save, resume, autoplay support to STARTWINAMP and CLOSEWINAMP commands.

Thanks guino, your dedication is appreciated.

I have this MadAd but it is related to CPU usage when running embedded apps and they are processing in the background which sometimes causes the music to stutter or sometimes even stop.

Ok this seems to be the issue I have as well.

On resume from Hibernate, music starts and then stops. press play it starts and stops, press play again it's fine.

2-ADI SoundMax AC97 (Compaq EN SFF)
    3-No

    USB devices : TS,Bu-303,Gyration Keyboard.

Don't have this issue with MediaCar.

There is a mod you can carry out on the XA-300, that changes the USB power from the unit to the PC, this way even when your HU isnt on AUX, the usb is still connected. have a search for it.

I have an Via Epia M10000 MB with 512 RAM, A Deluo mouse type USB GPB, Windows XP Pro SP2 and have this problem.
I have it set to hibernate and when it comes back up I hear music a short time but it goes off. The program MMC is closed once it does come back and I have to restart it.
It used to work fine until my hard drive died and I had to replace it. Since then I have not been able to get the system back to working right.

Ok I've tried this on another PC.

Now on this one when it returns from hibernation the sound continues fine, but the volume indicator is down to 0% but the actual sound level is at the normal level. (this is on an Acer travelmate laptop 340)

will try on another PC tonight. (after the Liverpool game)
