do you have voice enabled in RRConfig ? do you have SAPI 5 installed ?
Ok, I maybe going slightly crazy but I'm sure I had spoken directions in the past when I sued MapPoint with RR.
Recently they seem to have 'dissapeared'. Any thoughts as to why?

Yes, SAPI 5 is installed (I used to use VOICES). Also, voice is enabled in RRconfig.

Hit STOP on the audio player, go back to the main menu and back into the audio player.. if you don't hear "MUSIC" it is likely that something is screwed up with your SAPI (or the settings are wrong).. The same functions used for voice in the menus is used for Mappoint's directions..
