I have Winamp 2.91, and RR 10 08 06 (from the 10 09 06 installer), and the latest crystalblue skin beta. I have now gotten almost everything i want working, gestures, and albumart etcetc.
However in doing so I have lost the ability to paly a playlist through.
A song finishes, then the next song is selected and starts (i can hear the first fraction of a second), and then pauses at 00:01. After which I can unpause it..
Winamp running on its own does not exhibit this problem, it only occurs in RR.
Help! This is annoying, and I'm about to go on a long drive to my parents house.
I have used the search feature! If there is another thread point me at it, please.
Also, a little off topic, any ideas how to prevent pops (Epia SP13000 onboard audio)?
PS. Cheers from New Zealand GUINO, I thought a carPC was an awesome idea, and then I found RR and it turned out to be a very well developed idea! Will post pics of my setup at some stage.

nope, thats not it.
as i said winamp does not exhibit this behaviour on its own.
Only when running under Roadrunner.exe 8/10/06.
Also, when i run RR.exe (an older version like 7/9/05 or something) left over in my roadrunner directory, the problem does not occur.
I want to run 10 8 06 because the crystal blue skin has a feature that allows me to jump to a letter in a list, this feature does not work in the older version of RR.
also, the problem does occur with the BMV2 skin, so I dont think it is the crystal blue skin at fault.
I have similar problems as well with RR, just random pauses, mostly after a song switch, or resuming from hibernation. I'll try to pay closer attention to see if I'm experiencing the same as you.
The best resurrected frontend I've ever used, period.
Not sure of the Winamp and the latest RR but if the pops are on the shutdown guino added exitmute= true|false in the RR.ini make sure it's not set to true.
I guess you have a folder or directory for your playlist and pointed to that in the RR.ini??
RESOLVED the playlist advance issue!
!!!!!!!!!!! Use Winamp 2.95 !!!!!!!!!!!!
The pops are on start up, and are nothing to do with winamp or RR, i believe.
They seem to be a fault of the onboard audio hardware. Once sound has been palyed, the pop does not reoccur until there has been silence and winamp not running for a little while.
I have disabled all windows sounds (USB connect/remove) because of this pop.
Loud enough to damage ears and speakers when the volume is up. I really dont feel the need for an extigy...
