How to Embed any GPS program into Road Runner

What is there is correct, but what version of sygic drive are you using?

What skin are you using?

As long as you have entered the gps and path correct it will work, thats exactly what i use on mine.

Looks like its the skin thats stopping it, i was using "simplistique" skin, when i went back to the default bmv2, it worked like you said it would, apologese..

need help with mappoint 06
i just installed RR and using default skin w/ GPS windo name set to mappoint.
When I click on gps button nothing happens

however mappoint does start as eternal gps if i select external options...

does any one know why map point doesnt want to load w/ the skin?

Okay I found my navigator6.... and did what you said... and it opens... but it takes over the screen... either that or arent squized into the skin...

I'm having the same issues... None of the buttons work, and Mappoint just runs normally like it would in windows. I'm using Mappoint 06 on XP btw

Version 6 of PC Navigator does not support any window re-sizing, it is designed to run stand alone only. When Navigator 7 was released, a patch was released (following forum members requesting it, if I do recall) to allow the window to be re-sized correctly by RR.

Have never used map point I'm afraid. I would advise you to search for a program called Win Spector, which will allow you to get the program info to allow it to be embedded into RR correctly.

These are the details other members are using, unless I typed them in wrong, can anyone else confirm these settings are ok with Map Point?

hi all....

1. i tried GARMIN setting (DFX4, mode "MENU", path:c\garminmobilepc\que.exe, gps name:GARMIN MOBILE PC), did'nt launch GARMIN apps (just RR background). When i run RR Garmin (overlay skin version) first, then press GARMIN (DFX4), thats all work....

need help, why i can't launch GARMIN by RR config?

2. how to set "GAUGES" (satellites, speed, compass) to make full functioning for GARMIN?

MapPoint 2009 Europe edition

Gps path : - X:\Program Files\Microsoft MapPoint Europe 2009\MapPoint.exe
Gps Windows Name - Map - Microsoft MapPoint Europe

Change the X to your drive

Not sure how the us version works, but the euro one opens in another window then loads into RR as well
