by chaning th h value nothing happens. i did it to 1000 and to 200 nothing happens.
any other idea please!
Well the external_gps.skin file you posted does not match the image you posted in the previous post, so it looks like it may be switching to a different .skin file somewhere.
somethig is strange..
if i hit gps button 10 times then i have perfect screen with no chipping of the gps window about 4 times. and rest of the 6 times its chopped. so its sometimes there are some times not.
and BTW i just figured out that i need to change the A lines in the iguidance_wide.skin .
I did make the h value higher but its not elping me instead the extended part is a black screen.

I am having an issue though. I've followed the instructions for Garmin Mobile PC
Latest software patch/update:

Embedding Details:
GPS Path:c:\GarminMobilePC\que.exe
GPS Window Name: Garmin Mobile PC
When I click the NAV button Garmin does open but it's not embedded. It just opens as a program in front of RR. Clicking that little X at the top right corner is hard when I want to close it.
Anyone get this working?

If it opens but does not embed, it will be down to one of two things.
1. The window name is incorrect. (use winspector to find correct window name)
2. The program does not like resizing and won't embed.
Second post has now been converted to an FAQ post, starting with the above.
An FAQ post required for an FAQ thread, who'd have thought it?
check the window name. i think its incorrect.
