    Hi,

now I can use the universal commands in RR. But how can I use different commands for each skin.

    For example:

Button 1 (from my remote) should be next song in audio-player but in menu.skin should this button load gps.

    Thanks

    powermate girder file

i've been working on a powermate girder file

you must have the powermate and alarmtimer plugin enabled.

    the following actions are supported

    right
    left
    down-right
    down-left
    single click
    double click
    hold 1 second
    hold 2 seconds

it would be fairly easy to add more hold counts but i felt that it would be too distracting to try to count the audio notifications.

in some screens, 8 commands were not enough so i made 2 command sets using the above commands. to switch between the 2 i used the hold for 1 second command, so instead of 8 commands, i now have 14 per screen.

to define the rr function for the powermate command, just add them to your Exectbl.ini file.

in my ExecTBL.ini i've finished the powermate commands for the menu and the audioplayer screens so far.

    Thanks Kuo,

Your GML file is the best! Did you check out your GML I sent you? I added visual notifications and a menu system to get around other RR menus.

Going to use your latest one now, thank you for shareing this.

Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of rotation of the powermate knob in list mode? I find in the car over a bump you can over scroll quite easily.

try using the powermate control panel (powermate.exe) to adjust the sensitivity. you can also adjust the antirepeat time for each event in girder.

So I have the igor usb device and the MCE usb device. Using girder are there a list of send messeges for each function or do you have to setup the ExecTBL.ini file. I am a little confused.

I have used girder before with frodplayer using send keys and send messeges.

I download the tay firefly file but i assume you need to have that remote or some other thing because it didn't work. Also i should note that i didn't edit the exectbl.ini. Is that necessary.

    Forgive my ignorance
