SoundGraph Imon PI
This PI has been in my todo list since i got my Imon UltraBay, soundgraph released a proper API, last year, and a RR PI was planned since then, not sure how many people uses this hardware, im using the very first imon ultrabay version, but im sure version 2 will work.
ok the first question some people may ask is, what on earth is this imon ultrabay. heres a video of
will upload a video with PI controlling RR soon....
this PI control's RR from the remote and hardware buttons, shows track info in lcd display depending on current source for now, im writing the PI in .NET, functions are based on my personal needs. so im creating this thread to let other imon ultrabay owners about this PI.
EL, I likey!........ just what my RR install needs. How much $$ for this unit? And where did you get yours from?
lol, when i first saw this unit year ago, it thought it would be perfect for a car. it looks like a funky factory am/fm deck..
i bought one a while back for $80--a open box unit from fry's.
it only controls the windows volume, so the volume control is too sluggish for me, but i loved the remote, and the extra control it had offered me.. i had returned it due to the volume control issue, and at the time, it went in my gaming pc which had no need for it..
yes i know it had some limitations before, soundgraph did a nice job with the API, 0 bugs, and very fast, i truly like the look and feel of this unit, funny thing is since i saw this unit, i got 2, and always wanted a true PI, not just some key mapping.
@RAWPWR, google for it, i havent seen this unit in some time, maybe in ebay or even amazon, or look for the Antec Veris, different look, same hardware.
fyi, geeks.com has a antec veris model on sale right now for $50:
