ups were missing these files,
if i remeber they were .ocx files i will link here when i get home.
i think this was 1 of them let me know of the other and i'll upload it.

Nah it can't be that one. That's for talking to a comm port.
I used filemon to see what it was looking for and I got a huge list, about 4 or 5 of which were missing, mostly OCX & DLL stuff. Replaced the ones I could but it still doesn't work. Its a strange error as well, will have to post a screenie tonight.
Some time ago I wrote an app like this in autoit, main diff is that it would allow me to attatch a command to call when in the set dist of a POI. The only bad thing about it was that it seem to eat up a little more CPU than I really wanted it too, but I think that was because it was written in autoit instead of say vb/C..
So with that said, my request woud be that exactly...to be able to define a command for rr to exec. The one that I wrote was mainly used for turning down/up the vol when I was near one of the entered POI's like the house, work, ect...a twist to the already great speed att func.
nice work dude, is this pretty much the same way that FreeDrive displays speed camera warnings? great cos i using Pc Navigator which has crap speed camera support.

when i have voice activated in rr TTS, and Gatso warns about the camera she stutters or repeats her her self , switch off voice in rr config she is fine.
any ideas.

I hope to get back onto this soon. I too have noticed that PCNavigator has crap camera support :)
Capri28 - stuttering sound is almost certainly due to lack of cpu. Voice recognition is probably chewing all your cpu.
