Well that's the command (less GHR) that my freedrive uses and it works fine.
here's a clip from my exectbl.ini
Code:
"CAMALERT","",external_gps.skin
"CAMALERT","MENU;camalert.skin"
"CAMALERTCANCEL","exit",camalert.skin
Turn on RR debuging and post a debug.txt file.

It came up ok on MENU.skin, but not on the GPS (Its using External gps skin), maybe its the nav program thats causing it...
Do you happen to know if this software is capeable of playing different wavs for redlight & mobile cameras I believe you have this functionality in your freedrive version

Ok, let me explain what these lines in your Exectbl.ini will do. Then it should become clear.
The red will indicate what happens upon receiving GHRRCAMALERT
"GHRRCAMALERT","",external_gps.skin
Am I in external_gps.skin? if yes do what is in quotes (ie nothing)
"GHRRCAMALERT","",camalert.skin
Am I in camalert.skin? if yes do what is in quotes (ie nothing, this is because you don't want another alert to be triggered when you are already in the alert skin.
"GHRRCAMALERT","MENU;camalert.skin"
No specific skin so do what it says in quotes. (ie pop the alert skin up)
So basically remove the external_gps.skin line and it should pop up the alert in the external_gps.skin.
The reason I have the blank external_gps one in my exectbl.ini is because I have freedrive running in it and that pops up it's internal screen.
As for the different sounds I have no idea, sorry.

Is this great toy pretty much for European guys? Can i use this in the U.S.?
be able to as long as you have a list of cams in .csv format ,just drop them into the ghrr folder and away you go . i have been using this here the same side of the water as E and its pretty much spot onQuote:

you should have an old uk version with ghrr to see the difference.
