Nice work Capri28. I'll fix the runtime error if RR disappears - that's quite easy & then I'll release a beta (rather than an alpha).

    Thx v much for testing.

    Beezer..

Just so I know I'm right can you list all the possible types of alerts your prog shows & the speeds it shows as well.

This is so I can create the right art work associated with each type of possible alert.

Let me know if you want me to set any indicators to make skinning easier.

MMMmm - OK - I have a re think. I was thinking slightly diffently.

That been said if I can suss out flash skining ( looking in to at the mo ) this may be the best way to get a nice looking skin as such.

Thank you for your work getting this RR-ified. It's already doing good things.

I have been testing it a bit the last couple of days, and here is some input. Hope you don't mind.

    1. Is there a chance to get two distance values implemented? First for a early warning like 'approching speed camera' maybe 0.5km before camera, then the existing 'speed camera' alert at 0.2km?

    2. A possibility to warn by audio only if actually speeding?

    3. It seems that relative winamp mute does mute roadrunner instead of winamp. When raising the volume again it also sets it to 100% for some reason.

    4. CUSTOMGHRRSPEEDLIMIT label does include the km text after the numeric value. Is there a way to cut this off? I made a quick camalert.jpg where I put a speedlimit sign, and the label in center of the sign, but doesn't look to smart with the km attached

    5. Clicking the on the pop-up removed it shortly before it re-appeared. It kept doing that a few times before giving up.

Not at all - the more feedback the better. And don't be afraid to tell me it sucks

Well, it already has 2 distance values. The first is the voice warning & is configurable in the ini file. The second is the beep noise that sounds when you're near the camera. That's not configurable at present, but I intend to change it to automativally vary its distance based on speed.

I can probably implement this later on. However, personally I'd like to know about the cameras even if I'm not speeding (not that I ever speed anyway).

Yes, I noticed that. i'll look in to it. In teh meantime try one of the other options like PAUSE.

    Can do.

Will investigate. I thought I fixed that in the alpha. Obviously not.

Ok, I've been using this quite a bit myself these days & I've just *GOT* to get it to vary its alerting based on speed. It tells you way too late when you're travelling fast.

I'll try to get a new release out soon.
