enforcer man , is normal what when i put a new zip code , and call to search , have a delay for 1 or 2 minutes , and i can`t touch other botton of skin ? thanks mikeee

with the currently released version while it is downloading from the internet, the program doesn't 'let go'.


with the next version it should (hopefully)

I need some help in getting this to work. I read the readme file and have some questions.. Downloaded recent RRGAS from Enforcers website. Ran register.bat. Added x,rrgas to the menu.skin of DFX4. Changed the name of the gas_pricefinder.skin to gas.skin. Used the DFX4 button editor to remap the gas price button to rrgas. Is there something else that needs to be done. Does the x,rrgas entry have to be in a certin place in the menu.skin. I added it to the end of the skin file. My car install starts tommorrow and I would like to get this working before that.. Any help will be appreciated.

First of all check with John to see if he has added the RRGas bits to the DF4.0 download.

if he has that should be the simplest solution.

If he hasn't, then I can suggest two possible things with what you have done.

1. not sure if where you put the x,rrgas in the menu.skin matters, but normally it is placed at the top after the graphic files list.

2. the button to go to the gas plugin page should just have the code rrgas and nothing else. (ie no load command)

Also, the labels and button codes changed between the old plugin and this one, so even if all that is right, you would need to change each button and label in DFX4.0.

That's just a find and replace (excluding any new functions) if you use notepad


ie

find gas

replace with rrgas

Notepad rules.....
