Just wondering. Would it be possible to add CNG to this plugin. I am thinking about converting one car to CNG and it would be nice to be able to find a station that sells it.
I received this via PM, I hope Morpheus doesn't mind me bringing it out into public, but I feel this sort of question should be asked here.

You can also read the F.A.Q. which is second post of this thread.
however if you question isn't answered there, I will try to add some info.
The easiest way to get this to work is to install a skin which already has support for it. Reading through this thread you will see various skinners have beta tested this and (should) have included it in their skins.
Second easiest is to copy the sample skin files in post #3 of this thread into the folder of the skin you are using, (recommend BMV2 to test), add a button with the command rrgas (if there already is a gas button it may have the command gaspricefinder, change this to rrgas). And add the lines in the add to exectbl.ini to the skins exectbl.ini file.
Third is to change a skin that has support for the old native gas function. This is fairly easy to get the basics working but then needs a little tweaking to get the extra functionality that the new plugin provides. To change an existing skin, look for the gas button, change 'gaspricefinder' to 'rrgas'. locate gaspricefinder.skin, and then change all refferences to 'gas' to 'rrgas' or stick rr infront of gas.
Hope this helps.
If you still have issues, post in the thread with the skin you are using, what you have done so far, and any skin files you may have edited.
OH a don't forget to run the register.bat file in the plugin (rrgas) folder.

Bump for version 1.5 release.

Added in thsi version the ability to save the current data to a file for recall later. This can be done once per zipcode (files are saved to subdirectory savedfiles with a filename of the zipcode).
This also means that you can update the prices for a number of zipcodes on a home PC and transfer to the CarPC for recall later if you have no internet in the car.
I will keep looking but here is one... http://www.cngprices.com/
Yeah, I saw that one when I had a quick look.
Unfortunately it's using google markers to show the price and so I can't just scrape the info out of the webpage.
So, no comments on the new save and load feature![]()
I've yet to try out the save and load feature. Struggling with some other discrepancies in my setup but i'll be at it soon. Keep up the good work Enforcer
E, i SEE no progress bar.. Am i missing something?
1. what skin are you using.
2. what is the slider code you are using in the gas_loading skin?
3. How long does it take to update the prices.
4. what version are you using?
5. What's the colour of money?
