i had to overwrite 2 files.. and Enforcer is right as long as the file date is newer its ok to copy.

I hadda stop usign this temporarily because i got the overwrite error and it made RR crash at suspend. Once that error gets dealt with this is the PERFECT OBD plugin!

As for the events, I'm not sure if there is an existing RR function for something like that. If not I suppose I could try and figure out how to get something like that working. Making sure the primary functions are working right is my main focus though.

I'm also thinking of splitting this off into two versions. One for MPG and one for reading PID values. Still haven't decided if that would be a good idea or not though.
For myself your job is very well acomplished. I was thinking only give you some ideas to improve your plugin and avoid another 'empty head' like me burn their cars.

Perhaps (I dont know nothing about flash) it could send a flash command to RR paly something loud. Or it could be part of the flash file when the values achieves some point then the pictures changes to a 'flame' and starts to play something. Just thinking..

Oh! I forget I prefer to see the consumption calculation as it is now (km/L) if you can implement those three options then will make everybody happy!

Tomorrow Ill check the ExtraOBD setting and post here.

    Skin is not updating

I have installed the skin as directed, but the Skin only shows zeros. But if I run the obdmpg.exe I am showing connection and readings..Possible I have not installed the skin correctly?

    Checked!
I got 2 more PIDs running:
CELV (does it means Calculated Load Value?) and ECT.
I know my car has a Throttle Position sensor (saw on scantool) but under obdmpg the TP PID doesnt changes when accelerating. Does TP means Throttle Position?

In my case what I forget to do was running the .bat file inside RR's folder. after I did it everything worked fine.
I already had copied those files into the system32.

    From the skin_commands file:

    PID 04 - Calculated Engine Load Value % - "obd_celv"
    PID 05 - Engine Coolant Temp degC - "obd_ect"
    PID 06 - Short Term Fuel % Trim Bank 1 - "obd_stft1"
    PID 07 - Long Term Fuel % Trim Bank 1 - "obd_ltft1"
    PID 08 - Short Term Fuel % Trim Bank 2 - "obd_stft2"
    PID 09 - Long Term Fuel % Trim Bank 2 - "obd_ltft2"
    PID 0A - Fuel Pressure kPa- "obd_fp"
    PID 0B - Intake Manifold Pressure - "obd_map"
    PID 0C - Engine RPM - "obd_rpm"
PID 0D - Vehicle Speed (kmh or mph)- "obd_vss"
    PID 0F - Intake Air Temp degC - "obd_iat"
    PID 10 - MAF air flow rate g/s - "obd_maf"
    PID 11 - Throttle Position % - "obd_tp"
    PID 22 - Fuel Rail Pressure kPa - "obd_frp"
    PID 45 - Relative Throttle Position % - "obd_rtp"
    PID 46 - Ambient Air Temperature degC - "obd_aat"

I'll check into TP, you should also be getting at least the short term fuel trims, I think almost every car has them.

    Not sure.

Is anybody using this plugin with the latest RR release without a problem? I'm trying to get my test machine back up and running and i'm running into some issues with the MPG calculations not working. I know everything worked fine with the older version of RR so i'm not sure where the problem lies at the moment.

Ignore previous post, I figured it out. My attempts to make an adjustable Baud Rate aren't going so well with the Mscomm control so from now on all new releases will be at 38400 instead of the old 9600.

I hope this doesn't cause any problems for anybody, it should just provide a nice speed increase since most hardware now a days should communicate fine at 38400.

I'll try to get a new release up tonight, I'm adjusting the download method a little bit so I can keep track of how many people are actually using the plugin.
