I'm trying to find a way to test it at my home. Because now I spend more time at the car than at home lol

Ok mezz64, I've managed to make it work with the debug!!

Now the problem is that it doesn't cooperate with RoadRunner (30/7/09 but also tried a 09/2008 version). I also installed the latest version of RideRunner but no luck there either.

Can you explain the steps to install your plug in? (I've read the thread twice!)

Finally, while the debug starts the ELM correctly, when running RR the ELM seems dead. No lights, no nothing. Nothing moves.

PS1: In RRConfig, under Plugins page, it shows that the dll is registered. Sometimes it shows "obdmpg", others ",obdmpg.dll".
PS2: In my menu.skin I've added X,obdmpg and also a label for rpm and conn.
PS3: Using WinXP SP2, with your 1.4.1 version

The plugin is designed to work with the latest RideRunner versions. I no longer do any testing on older RoadRunner builds.

Installation should be fairly straightforward with the new installer. After installing RideRunner run the OBDMPG installer, then navigate to the plugins folder inside RR and edit the ini. That's all there is to it, no need to add x,obdmpg to the skin file anymore.

    OK I made it!!

The trick was to use version 1.4, and not 1.4.1

Thanks very much for your help, and for the great plugin you've made!

A quick overview for those who aren't sure what to do:
    1. Copy files from "Com Files" Folder into "C:\windows\system32"
    2. Add "x, OBDMPG" to the menu.skin file of the skin that you are using
    3. Copy "obdmpg.dll", "obdmpg.ini", and "RunMe.bat" into RR's main working directory
    4. Double click "RunMe.bat" to register the .dll
    5. Edit Com Port and Vehicle Options in the "obdmpg.ini" to reflect your system and vehicle settings
    6. Then either use my provided skins or make your own, the plugin should be ready to operate!

The first step is important. Without it the Mscomm control that I use to communicate with the ELM will not work. Also, if you happen to already have VB6 installed on your computer you do not need to do step 1 since the files get added during the vb6 installation.
Hi Thanks for the lovely plugin
But can you pls help me as HOW do i get the GAUGES working.....
I have followed all the steps and am able to get to the screen where it says CONNECTED.. ( in grey as i am trying on my laptop and do not have the ELM here ) but how do i go to the Gauges screen...

    Thanx
    Vicky
