    mezz64, can you please explain how to make our own flash gauges?

    Is there a need for a specific number of frames?
    How do I make it pull data from a specific obd label?

    Any other info is welcome!

    Thanks.

    PS: I can't make your gauges to work. Instead of speed, the word "Nan" comes out...

    Sorry for the lack of reply, I just started a new job last week and don't have much free time until the weekends now.

    To get the gauges to work all you need to do is have a way to get to the skin. The flash files should do the rest.

    As to making your own, there is no specific # of frames needed and as to pulling the data do some looking through the RR skin forum, there is lots of info on flash skinning.

    congratulations for your good work mezz64,
    this is the best obd plugin

    FRP - fuel rail pressure (gauge) (kPa)
    egr_pct - commanded egr (%)
    BARO - Barometric pressure (kPa)
    VPWR - ECU voltage (V)
    APP_D - accelerator pedal position d (%)
    APP_E - accelerator pedal position e (%)

    it is possible have it on the new version?
    or can someone create me a dll mod?

    i try to make it with your source in vb6 but i failed,
    vb6 is not my language..

    many thanks

    OK, I'll test my programming skills. Mezz64 correct me...

    1)In FrmOBD I'd add:

    If (bPID = 52) Then
    BARO = IngData
    End If
    'Get BARO
    result = elm.send_to_OBD(1, 52, "")
    End If

    and

    'Get BARO
    If (binaryPID(52) = 1) Then
    result = elm.send_to_OBD(1, 52, "")
    End If

    2)In RRextension

    Case "obd_baro"
    ReturnLabel = frmOBD.disp_val("BARO")

    I can post the latest source, and will do so once I get home from work today. I had hoped to have an official release out by now, but due to some carputer problems and starting a new job I have pretty much no time for testing/development these days.

    Latest source is now posted in the usual place: http://rr.johnmihalic.com
    Enjoy the new GPS data features, they should improve data quality. I apologize I'm unable to publish a complete release at this time.

    I've had a request for the skin image source files so I've attached them to this post. Enjoy.

    Well I'll throw in my 2cents worth here with a little bug with my setup.
    It's pretty simple really.

    When I go to fill up I usually reset my trip and mileage on the car, well since I've now got the car I decide to do that as well to see how well they match up. So I reset the FE then the Mileage(kms in my case) and then I'll get an error.
    Believe it's code 11 with message 'division by zero' then the plugin crashes and it then takes me multiple RR restarts to either get it working right, or I just go into the ini and clear the crazy long numbers.
    Everything else works great and I've incorporated it into my skin with a whole lot of data. This has happened with 1.4 and 1.4.1. Can't recall if it happened with 1.3 or not, since that was a while ago.
