I installed the plugin last night but I am not getting any result.
I followed the instructions, installed LSX Void and then copied the skin files from the plug in. Registered the dll, and changed the .ini to point to Com12 (It does support double digit com numbers?)
I dont get any read outs. When I start other OBD readers I always have to "open" the connection. Is your plug in automatically opening the connection (or did I miss a "start" button).
Also notice the "Adjust" function is not working. I hit a number on the keypad but nothing appears in the display.
It does open the connection automatically. Are you not seeing any numbers at all or are there at least 0's displayed?

I'll try to add something that logs error output so things like this can be solved more efficiently. Look for an update near the end of the week.
It's not showing any numbers, not even zero's.
I'd change the com port if I knew how (it's a usb elm device)
I started Digimoto to make sure the reader is working and it reports just fine.
Go to com ports in device manager. You should be able to change the com port number there.

Having issues with LSX skin, but once I make my own skin I think I'll be alright.
Good to know. I'll try to get a complete skin commands file up by the end of the week to help everybody integrate things easier. I might even make up a couple BMV2 skins to demonstrate functions.

I changed the Com port to 2 (thanks for the instructions). I also found I had missed some of the instructions and had not loaded the Com Files to the correct directory.

I now get values of zero in all the fields and the adjust functionality works.
Still not getting any actual values.
I've started setting up the fields in my own skin.
The label fields are fine, but LSX Void is a little to sophisticated for me to decipher. Can you tell me what commands "Adjust" and Reset" are running?
I realise "Adjust" might need the whole skin command, but maybe not.
Ok guys i've just realized that me expecting everybody else to decipher my thought process isn't going to work out too great. So i'm going to actually put some thought into some documentation, as well as simple BMV2 skins so more people can grasp everything quicker.
The source directory contains the vb6 project files. If you're feeling ambitious and would like to correct any errors yourself that's where you would go. I've been including the latest source in each distribution.
As for the 0 values, they remain 0 while the car is moving correct?
What value do you have set for "ADJ" in the ini file? It should be 1 to start out with and will be adjusted as you go when you calibrate with fill-up data.
Adjust and Reset are calibrate related functions, as is the keypad. I'll cover everything in detail soon, if not by the end of tomorrow sometime over the weekend.
