Enforcer,
After a few minutes (~5 min or so), I get a "Runtime errror 11...Division by zero" when using the RRTC (v.1.4) in DFX5. I was using v.127 fine in DFX 4. I got it to work once in DFX5 but now it keeps giving that error code. I can go to the first screen in trafficcam but I can't do any other funtions.
I re-ran the register.bat file but it keeps giving that error. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help....
Right, this is where I start to sound like mitchjs.
1. have you tried it with a different skin. (I doubt it will make any difference but hey)
2. put debug=true into the traffic.ini (might need to do it in the Documents & Settings path) and then email the debug.txt to the email address at the bottom of my website (Contact Web admin). DO NOT post the debug.txt here.
3. Try 1.3 (or 1.27) in DFX5
The main difference in 1.4 to previous versions is the byGPS feature, so it's possible it's diving by zero to get distance. Is RR getting a gps feed?
And 5 minutes is the default period set for doing a new check on your position against cameras positions.
However I have just checked all the division calculations in the various modules and there is none (ncluding in the distance calculation) where it is possible to have a division by zero.
So it's weird that you are getting a division by zero
Ok...I tried this again and it worked in DFX5. So, I closed RR and used the same version in DFX4 and it worked. I logged out of RR one more time, went back into DFX 5, waited a few and it gave the error again. So, it's hit and miss on the error.
Yes, RR is getting a GPS feed. I am using gpsgate to split my comport as well.
I sent you the debug file. I now will try an old version in DFX5.
I think I see the issue. I am mixing both versions together 1.4 and 1.3. In DFX 5, the button points to a .exe file in rrpath\plugins\trafficcam like in DFX4 but v.1.4 (RRTC folder) the file is now .dll. The button is only "rrtc".
I am not sure if this is causing the issue but I am trying to set it up this way now.
Yeah there is some confusion in the DFX skins as far as RRTC is concerned.
And according to the debug file you are using version 1.30 not 1.40.
It looks like there is an issue when it tries to check for a new version of the database file.
But it shouldn't come up with a divide by zero error, I would expect a file not found or file exists error.
@ Navputer
Looks like RAWPWR was having the same issue
I have posted what may be a later version of the 1.3x DLL in the DFX5 thread, try this out and see if it works any better.
