What a great work, i looked forward to this tool, cause this tool has all my needed codes for my board monitor, and now after days of trying with ibusrr and ibuscom it works.

But is it possible that there is a problem with hibernate mode? i set my pc to hibernate because of the booting time, and after turning on again, the ibus service is started but doesn´t react on any input button. if i do a restart to the service everything works fine again. Or is there any switch inside the ini file to configure this.

When i tested it in my car i don't seen this kind of problem. Hybernation works fine.
Do you installed MSCOMM.OCX that i provide?

Thats a good question, i´m not sure, if i used yours, because i already had that file in system32. My workaround is now, that i use hibernate trigger (found at google) to start a batch file, which restarts IBUS service when pc comes back from hibernate.

i´m watching the phenomenon, because this morning i meant to see that the service was working correctly after starting from hibernate, a second later my script stopped it and started it again.

I will look forward to it the next few days, and hopefully i won´t need my batch file any longer.
(it tooks about 5 sec. until i can use my buttons because of the service restart).

I´ll give feedback.

I am new and i have a probleme with ibus in my e39 it switch on screen of cd and I d like to switch on screen tape
because i have connect up sound has the place of tape

ok
in my e39 bmw
when i use the button "mode" to switch the screen " radio - cd - tape "
the ibus switch is on when the "cd screen " .
and i would like to switch when the "tape screen" is on

because I connect the sound of the PC on the tape and I would like to keep the compact disc

I think yes, but i need to try and to find the difference between my algorithm and Visual Basic's.

i dont have RepeatInterval parameter in my ini file. Does this mean, that if not existing it uses 50ms as default and if exists the value defined?

at least thats what the docu says.

It means, for example, that you press button for 50ms (just standart press of standart button) but BMW IBUS broadcasts about two messages at this time, so for RR it's like you press button two times.
So for this case i've implement 'RepeatInterval' parameter for any Incoming message.
By default it set to 50ms but you can set it for 100 or 500ms if you'd like. It besides in the end of .ini file.

For now i'll try to update mechanism for open COM ports without 'MSCOMM.ocx'

But i can't test it coz i've broken my car
