    RRCarburant - Le prix des carburants (Fuel Prices for France) - Status:In Development

    Following on from the US & UK fuel price RRPlugins, I now will soon have a version available for France.

    Many thanks to pierrotm777 for endless beta testing and translations.

    Buttons
    rrcarburant - loads carburant.skin
    rrcarburant_zipcode - brings up OSK to change postcode
    rrcarburant_refresh - force refresh of data from web if available
    rrcarburant_range - brings up numOSK to allow entering of range
    rrcarburant_fuel - brings up fuel menu screen (SP98,SP95,Gazole+,Gazole,GPL,E85,E10)
    rrcarburant_fuelmenu - loads rrcarburantfuelmenu.skin
    rrcarburant_gps - get postal code from lat and lon supplied via RoadRunner
    rrcarburant_save - save current info to disk with postcode, fuel and range as filename
    rrcarburant_load - brings up rrcarburant_saved.skin which has list of previously saved info
    rrcarburant_select - select and load previously saved info.

    rrcarburant_#_fdnavigate - Send GPS coords to Freedrive and plot route

    F.a.q.

    Frequently Asked Questions.

    Q. I don't have an internect connection in my car, can I still use this.

    A. Yes, run this on your home PC save the info to your saved folder and then copy the saved folder to your Car PC. This can also be done from the Standalone version if you do not run RR on your home PC



    Q. I put in a new zipcode but the stations haven't changed or updated.

    A. It is most likely the site does not have any stations near the zipcode you have entered or you do not have a connection to the internet.


    Q. I don't have any Carburant Station brand icons.

    A. Look in your RoadRunner folder, there should be a folder called gas which contains all the gif files. However there may be some French specific ones missing so download the attachment at bottom of this post.


    Q. I have the gas folder but I still don't have any Gas Station brand icons.

    A. For the icons to work you will need the last RoadRunner version released by mitchjs or the lastest RideRunner


    Q. You have done RRGas for the US, UK and France any chance of doing it for <Insert Country here>?

    A. If you can find a website for your country that show the prices against individual stations, is searchable by postal code or GPS coords and doesn't show the price as a graphic, then post a link and I will have a look.


    Q. How do I set this up to work with my skin?

    A. Download one of the example skins and copy the commands from that also read the carburantskincommands.txt You should also bea bale to use graphic files designed for RRGas and/or Petrol



    Q. Would someone care to send me this?

    A. The Terms And Conditions expressly forbid the distribution of this program, please register on my forum to get your copy.


    Q. Anyone have a screen built for <Insert skin name here>? it would be greatly appreciated!

    A. check the skins thread, contact the skinner or you can try and convert it yourself (basic instructions earlier in the F.A.Q.)


    Q. How can I download this wonderful creation?

    A. Register on my forum at www.en4cer.co.uk/forum , when activated go to the downloads section.


    Q. I have registered on your site but am still not activated, why?

    A. I do not monitor the forum registrations 24/7 so it could take hours or possibly a day or two before I can activate you. If I am going away I will normally put this info into the news section of the forum. If however after a few days of registering you have not been activated then contact me via PM here. Using the same username as you do on here will help you get activated quicker.

    Please can you update the first post with the last Skin Commands please ?

    Can you explain me how run your command "gaz_igo8" and "gas_#_navigate".

    I should like an output file that i can convert ,csv, xml, kml, txt, like you want.

    Haven't added a gaz_igo8 command to RRCarburant, in fact I don't think I have released a version of this yet. Even in beta, have I?

    Yes it's that i want , a command that give an output file with lat and lon positions !

    Carburant 1.6 have that already, i think !

    Do you have added the possibility to send a longitude and latitude that would be possible to use with all gps as sygic, gmpc, automapa, igo4 and igo8 etc... ?

    The GPS coords are available as labels, so if there is a way to send them to the different Navigation programs then the info is there.

    Thing is getting the coords to that navigation engine is either a pain or not possible.
