I did that and it does not show the new menu screen with wifi signal at top. I registered the dll and it shows up in plugins and enabled
Looking at the files it looks like the WiFi indicator will only show up on menu1 and not menu2.
But it should show up
I've noticed with mine, and this may not be a wifiman fault, but.......
I start the Car PC on the driveway and my wifi and online indicators appear on my main menu (all menus) allowing me to access the internet and update but when I return to my drive i get the wifi indicator and no online indicator (the wifi is connected) and I'm unable to access the internet and update. For some reason its detecting the wifi but is unable to access the internet.
Great app. I use it all the time for weather and petrol plugins. Not really used out and about to connect to other networks yet! I've searched for them but not connected onto them.
k, i had an idea to make this PI even more flexible, the way it is now, we have a global "ONCONNECTED" event, the idea is to create defineable events, for different networks, lets say, HomeNet is youre home network SSID, when connected to this network, fire "ONWIFIMAN_HomeNet_CONNECTED". im thinking in adding this for the next revision. maybe by next week. this feature is handy, for those using enforcers RRUpd8, when connected to home network, sync data between carPC and HomePC...
Can we get this named to RRWifiman.dll as I am having issues getting this to run on my CarPC.
The issue seems to be that Centrafuse already installs a wifiman.dll into the windows\system32 directory, so I can't run both on the same system.
Better yet...don't run CF... :D
new version will be uploaded tomorrow.
nice , why is it that every1 is starting to release updates just as i do a clean out lol....
any hope of making this win7 compatible?
