I tested this with my SonyEricsson k750i today and mainly it worked well. Only a few small bugs, which I'm not sure if anyone has pointed out yet.

When refreshing (or loading for the first time) the internal phone book, it reaches 144 then slows dramatically. Then it proceeds to continue through my 300 odd contacts very slowly.

Any entry in the list above 99 wont show in the "contact 1 of 300" text. Ie. it will show 99 300, but then blank for the current phone book entry highlighted for any above 99.

The entries are not grouped by name, so for example it shows the name "Bob/M", "Bob/H", "Bob/W". Shouldn't it just show "Bob" then when you click to call, it shows each number available for the contact?

From what I remember, Phoco uses an app on the phone.

The new version will have a partially rewritten phonebook management. Test it in a couple of weeks.

With V330, there is one problem. Can't read SIM phone book. Miscall, Received, Dialed and mobile phone book are all fine. Can even notifiy incoming call.

    Blackberry anyone...

Anyone have any luck with a Blackberry yet... I've been doing a ton of homework, and trying to find the strings to get it to talk.

With Phoco I can Dial - but for the life of me I can't find a hangup/disconnect command that will work. I am doing a lot of the testing from Hyperterm.

I figured once I got to that point and knew some of the strings, this app would be perfect due to the local phonebook. I am pretty certain from reading that pulling the BB phonebook aint gonna happen, so this would be nice.

Help would be ever so appreciated? I have an 8700C but would try other commands if you've had luck.

    - ? last question.... This app/process is new to me on the CarPC. How are most people handling the MIC/SOUND without echo. Very curious on that?

    Thanks

You said that PhoneCtl works very well. If i remeber phoco has an log file, where the strings get traced in. Maybe you can find some interresting commands in it, good luck!

Unforutnately I do not think it does. My v525 didn't when I had it. However if it supports the bluetooth 2.0 standard, it should be able to. If it is not bluetooth 2.0, it will most likely not.

No - actually not at all... Phoco can initiate a dial - hence talk to the phone but that's it. It's like the ATD or ATDT command works but impossible to kill the call/hangup.... Looking for any assist big-time...
