Maybe yes !!! It seems that any of the most common AT commands are not supported. Try to find relatad info from the net about your phone and AT command supported sets.Originally Posted by gaslan

This is the log file for my Sony Ericsson T610.
Device manager showed the phone on com 5, and BITPIM also said phone was on com 5, I looked at the protocol logging for bitpim and it said com4.
So i changed the com port, and here are the errors i get
Error in function: PhoneCommand. during: <not defined>. num: 999. desc: Command AT+CGMI not supported by the phone
Error in function: PhoneCommand. during: <not defined>. num: 999. desc: Command AT+CGMM not supported by the phone
I did get the signal bar and the battery indicator....![]()

I connected to the phone using hyperterm, and tried some AT commands....
AT
AT+GMI;
AT+GMM
I am attaching a screen shot of the output.
I hope that helps....
also what does AT stand for ? and whats MPT.... ( I am guessing moto something)
Too cool! I too am hoping for compatibility with Windows Mobile 5 at some point!

It stands for ATtention,i have no idea what MPT is though.Originally Posted by jay_tu
AT commands are how the computer communicates with the phone. MPT is mobile phone tools... a program made by bvrp software for motorola phones.
the errors you got are simply telling you that phone doesnt understand the commands. Its more than likely verizon made the lg's incompatible with standard command sets.
