I know that i need to run the ATSniffer. When i connect the D600 or D500 using serial cable to com1 the sniffer fails to find any AT command supported by the phone, however when i use the same phone connected to USB port it founds many supported AT commands.
My main problem is to run the RRM over D600\500 with serial data cable and not USB.

    ATsniffer problems

    Hi,

I have been trying to use ATsniffer with my verizon vx9800.

I installed the drivers from the "music pack" sold by verizon. When I plug the phone in, I see 2 ports listed in device manager. Both are listed under the ports section - 1 for CDMA modem and 1 for usb-to-serial.

When I run ATsniffer (check for comm ports), it will check the comm ports that device manager says are assigned to the CDMA modem (3) and usb-to-serial (4) -- it doesn't find them. It then will lock up.

Running ATsniffer straight, it just locks up with either comm port 3 or 4.

    What am I screwing up?

Its worth trying different RTS DTR configurations in ATsniffer,I had a similar problem with my Nokia cos i didn't realise it needed RTS on + DTS off.

    Unhappy d500 \ d600 \ d820 serial (rs-232) connection

    Hi All,
I'm trying to connect using serial cable (rs232) with samsung D500\600\820
and i just can't make any connection with either one of them on any rate.
Does anyone got an idea what i'm doing wrong, or they are simply usb only phones?
    Thanks.

Can anyone help with this problem please.

As per the instruction to embedd this plugin into RR, i created a PHONE button on my skin and this is the text from the .skin file.

    B02,0,212,270,80,"LOAD;RRMOBILE.skin;RRMobile;C:\P rogram Files\RRMobile\RRMobile.exe;RRMobile","RRMobile"

However, this does not work at all.

If I remove (the bit in red)
    B02,0,212,270,80,"LOAD;RRMOBILE.skin;RRMobile;C:\P rogram Files\RRMobile\RRMobile.exe;RRMobile","RRMobile"

Then this loads the plug-in fine.

However, when i close the phone skin (which is the "exit" call in the RRMobile.skin file), it closes the RR skin also which is obvioulsy behind the RRMobile skin. Then i need to CTRL-ALT-DEL to stop both the exe.

What am i doing wrong ?? Any help appriciate, as after 4hrs i have just aboout pulled all my hair out !!

Anyone able to help with the above or if you have it working, please can you post the button code which calls the RRMobile plug-in from RR.

    Many thanks.

Has anyone had any luck with verizon's vx9800 -- either with bluetooth or usb?

or, has anyone had luck with verizon phones at all?

    So,

back again. I was trying to do some research on my vx9800...

    And come across this:

    http://www.yournav.com/forum/index.p...t=&#entry37841

which states that a user connected his vx9800 to his TomTom. Looking at how it was done, it looks like its some sort of DUN.

Could anyone explain how this could be done via a computer?

    Question Setting COM-port numbers.

    Hi all people,

Forgive me for going a bit off-topic but I got a mayby newbie-question about COM-ports. I have an USB-IRport to communicate with my Nokia 7250i but how do i set/find out my COMport nr?

Searched on my Control Panel but can't find (or looked over it).

By the way, this plugin is amazing
