I'll go ahead and point out right there that for the time being this only works in the Washington DC/Baltimore metro area

i've FINALLY figured out a way to download webcam feeds from trafficland.com. Using a php script i found here, i simply pull the images via an autoit script and save them to the skin folder. Then i use LOADIMG the same way it's done with the radar skin and there ya go

. Any interest in this? Obviously you must have internet in the car to have this work. The boxes are clickable in my skin so they can be expanded. This is done via skin though, not in the script.

Note that in the screenshot the "NO VIDEO" boxes are live feeds, the feed is just down cause its raining here.

I'm sure this will work with other areas at some point I've requested the actual .php so i can see if i can modify it for other areas, but for now.. only the listed area works.

I think you should pull the camera names and put them underneath those images as well.

link me some sites in the uk that give you traffic cams and i'll see what i can do. I know in parts of AUS its just as easy as pulling the image, maybe you'll luck out too

How do you know which cams to pull the feeds from though? Do the CAM ID's stay the same?

cam id's stay the same, the pubtoken portion of the web address i pull from changes hourly. That was always the problem. Today i stumbled on a tivo traffic app that uses the php script above to query the pubtoken for the baltimore/washington area cam. Then i use inetget to save the .php data to a .txt file. I believe there is around 400 different cams to choose from. My script pulls the ENTIRE area even though i only use 6 cams. I'll show you my .au3 later if you want. I have to run to an appt now.
