i had the same problem when trying the regular skin. The radio just always seems to be on. Does anyone know how to fix that?

OK another silabs issue, I dont know if it affects it when used through a skin or with this plugin, but it probably does..., I only use the official silabs app for the moment, as I am still looking for a skin I like, but the problem is this.......
My ac97 onboard-craposound-alc655 wont go into 4 channel mode via waveout.dll, only via directsound.dll (ds.dll?)
This is ok for winamp as you can tell it to use directsound, but the silabs app has no setting for this, so with the silabs app I only get sound on the front 2 channels, not the front and rear.
Anyone any idea how I can fix this? (in software)

I just have 2 small questions...
first of all I have a small memory of reading somewhere that silabs is having trouble with the RDS function, if not I must have set it up wrong somehow since it refuses to search for better reception...
The next one might have been answered somewhere in the thread earlier but I couldn't find it, the Traffic function... does that mute whatever else I have playing and unmute the radio or does it only switch between radio stations while I'm in radio mode?
oh, and still no one that have a clue how to get it to shut up when not using the skin that came with it...![]()

I use this to exit the radio skin: B09,698,531,102,69,"radio_mute||EXIT||RESUME","Exi t"
It will start playing MP3 and mute the radio.
I use this to go into the radio skin:
"ICERADIO","LOAD;ICE_RADIO.skin||PAUSE||radio_unmu te"
This will pause whatever it was playing and unmute the radio.
For the other questions.
In the plugin the traffic function will only 'listen' to the current station and will pause mp3/video/dvd when a traffic announcement is being broadcasted while unmuting the radio. It will after the broadcast mute the radio and resume whatever it was playing.
However it does not currently use the EON function to switch to another station when a traffic announcement is being broadcasted.
For the AF function... Currently it only does search for a stronger station when clicking the AF indicator. The SiLabs is not capable of a silent signal check of other stations so it is just switching the alternate frequencies it had received from RDS.

does that mean that when you first open rr it will be unmuted?
No, when the plugin is loaded it mutes the radio by default.

Is it at all possible to get this to work in Win2K?
Hello,
Will you add TMC encoding?
