Also the main problem with a radio plugin again as far as I know will only work when the plugin is active, so say your listening to the radio, then want to goto your gps screen, you cant still listen to the radio.. this is why I looked at coding it in native and still think its the best way to do it. I have to disagree.

This is an extension plugin. You can load the extension plugin in your first screen and it will be active all the time. It basically adds new labels, commands, sliders and indicators to the set of RR. You do not need a wait.skin at all. When the dll is loaded RR will for every label call the ReturnLabel function in the dll to see if the dll support that label. If not it will continue to check the labels native in RR.

What I understand from the design of the radio is that it does not need an line in to your computer because the microcontroller on the stick does an Analog to Digital conversion that is being send to the computer over USB. I guess that's where the lag is comming from. Normally this would not be a problem but it's interesting to hear how you came across yours.

This will probably mean that there not much that can be done about it. However 2 seconds behind is much.

I have noticed something else too. When my CarPC is very busy at time I seem to miss some of the receiption. It's far less than a second but you can hear it. Just like it skips a track on the CD player because it's dirty.

I'll make a copy of my skin tonight so you can try that out. Please also check that the USBRadio.dll is replaced by the one in the zip and the plug dll is registered correctly.

Does your radio work with the silabs sample application?

Just wanted to say... YES!

finally some way to get the Traffic Information into RR... thats the thing that I've missed the most since I ditched my old HU...

now I just need to get my Silab's radio!

The only thing I can think of is that between the ACTIVATE and the sendkey another command was send from the plugin causing RR to get focus again.. Maybe Guino is say something about that..
