This is in RR? Try clicking on the name of the album and see if that loads the playlist. Also try opening the html in the browser and see if it plays when you click on a song.

ID3 tags w/ foreign language on the first and/or second mp3 file of each folder will break the script.. but shouldn't be a script array error like you got. This is because of cddbcontrol tho unable to read tags inside those mp3s.

And another issue I forgot to mention before... due to the nature of the folder scan code I'm using which is recursive, the xml's are not written if you have a collection more than 600 albums. This is a limitation to the # of recursive calls to the same function that autoit can do.
that could very well be the problem then cause i have more than 600 albums. Bummer

This is all being done in RR.. when trying to run the .html i get a message about needing AC_RunActiveContent.js

You can try splitting up the folders and running the script. Then join the xml's together manually.... until I find a better solution to this. I'm puzzled why it doesn't load the songs in your RR... all its doing is a call to RR using setlistath\album.m3u. Anyone else having this problem?

Haven't tried it yet, but I only have a few albums here at work.

As far as the XML compiler is concerned I can do it in VB6, shouldn't have a problem with the number of albums.

Hey Sony, try adding these lines to your skin file to see if it fixes your issue about the playlist not loading.

    L,0,0,0,0,,,,,,"RRSCREEN",
    S,-400,-400,1,2000,255,255,255,0,0,0,0,0,0,80,80,80,0,255, 0,,20,"Arial Narrow"

it is reading greek tags nicely, well except the artist and album title at the top which shows nonsence.. boxes..
any idea how to make the swf display id3 tags instead of filenames, for the song that is?

You can maybe find a 3rd party tool that will write m3u files using id3 tags and in unicode text.
I can't read foreign text in autoit to do that thats why its easiest just to get filenames.

the list looks correct for the 75% of albums it finds but when i load the coverflow skin it says "There was an error loading that data, sorry". If i try to use the artist builder again the data looks like it works but i get that same error at the very same point of the xml build.

My music format is D:\My Music\GENRE\ARTIST\ALBUM\SONG . There are folder.jpg in every ALBUM folder and SONG folder
i also only get "There was an error loading that data, sorry", my music is sorted f:\dls\music\a\album folder

not quite sure exactly what i did, but i got it to now display the albums, i can select them (where they flip over) and pick a song to play, but when it loads the song in roadrunner, it also starts playing a second instance of the same song. if i pick a song from the playlist in rr on my audio screen, it plays that song on top of the one i picked in coverflow. i have no idea where the original song is playing, there is only one winamp process running. any ideas?
other than the trippy dual songs, it looks absolutly amazing

    thanks,
    david
