    As mentioned many times before....
If you have 2 instances of the same song playing at the same time, check your skin.
It probably doesn't have the label RRSCREEN in it.(check first post).
This is what flash looks for so it knows if it is playing within Roadrunner or a web browser.

Though 5.5 does solve the first song issue, I spent quite a bit of time messing with RR, Winamp 5.5 and coverflow today and have concluded that they don't play well together when it comes to playlists. I am now back to 5.13 looking for other solutions to the song #1 problem.

I've thought about your post 207 and don't think it's a problem with the form of the m3u file. If you click one of the album m3u files created by the builder, the album, including the first song, will play perfectly.

I didn't like the 5.5 with RR setup either. For the moment I have removed coverflow from my car PC - until I can get it to work on the home desktop anyway.

    1st Song Issue Solution

Okay, I have found a solution to the first song issue. If you open up the m3u file for an album and add 00-0 as the first line, the album song list will display properly and the album will start with the first song.

Obviously, it's not practical to manually edit hundreds or thousands of m3u files. Anybody have a script lying around that could easily be modified to make this change to all the m3u files created by the builder (that means you, Sonic )

    1st Song Issue Solution

Well, I've added 00-{space} to the first line of my m3u files (see below) and am pleased to report that the 1st song now plays every time. A blank line now shows up at the top of the playlist and the 1st song immediately begins playing.

    00-
    01-Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.mp3
    02-With A Little Help From My Friends.mp3
03-Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.mp3
    04-Getting Better.mp3
    05-Fixing A Hole.mp3

I did a crude (Sonic can attest to that ) autoit script to add the line to each of my m3u files. With 1800 albums, it takes about 20 minutes, but I won't need to do it often so it's no big deal. I'd make the script available, but it's tailored to my setup since I don't have the autoit skills necessary to make a script of universal application.

Though there could be a couple of tweaks, such as a native fix for the first song issue and an automatic switch to the player when an album is selected, I am now really pleased with how Coverflow is working. It fills a huge gap in RR. Thank you, Moahdib, for your hard work in bringing this to fruition.

Sure I'll post it on Friday when I get back to my main computer. I'm warning you, though, that it's going to require a little tweaking for you to get it to work on your machine. I or someone else could probably figure out a more elegant script, but it dependably does what it's supposed to do when set up correctly so I didn't see any need to mess with it.
