Thread: Launch video/dvd/cd/audio via any drive letter

Just caught me before I left...I'll look at all that stuff. El Camino, the current scripts created by the latest version of autoit won't decompile. I haven't tried to decompile yours yet. One more question....
$cmdlineraw will work with an already running script?

How does a person send it to the running MediaLaunch.exe. If I run /Road Runner/MediaLaunch/MediaLaunch.exe testing....it grabs the 'testing' like it should using $cmdlineraw. How do I send it something else now that MediaLaunch is already going?

So I send a run command to an already running medialaunch.exe? When I try that it just attempts to start another instance of medialaunch.exe, then it exits because I have it set to only run one instance. I think I have some other ideas from the Find Drive letters script.

sorry; i was thinking in another script; get my version, is in my signature "SOME TOOLS", the source code is there also, see the player section , and the function at the very bottom, if you need more help let me know.

I have some things working pretty good...in the medialaunch skin drives appear and disappear as media is inserted and removed, with a label describing the type (video/audio/blank/unknown/dvd). Push on the button and it loads that media. My question, is what would an eject or stop media button do? Or is it a physical eject button that will actually eject the media. I'm thinking holding the button would eject it. How do you set up a button that has a duplicate function (hold).
