iBusRR modifications?

Hi all,

I'm hoping to make some modifications to the iBusRR.exe created by WaRFiElD, or the generic IBUSComm.exe.

I am trying to map specific keyboard keys to Ibus commands. By default, the below entry in IBusComm.ini causes Ibus message 5004683B080F to generate an F7 keymap.

What I am trying to accomplish is the opposite. When I press F7, I want the program to generate the Ibus code 5004683B080F.

Unfortunately, I have no programming experience, but am more that willing to experiment.
I assume you would need to decompile the exe and make the necessary changes. I'd appreciate it if anybody could guide me through the steps, and hopefully I can figure out how to accomplish this.

To add something to the iBusRR plugin needs no programming. All you need to do is add new codes to the ini.

ie add the following to IBusRR.ini

;Description of what this will do
[ID:UNIQUE_DESCRIPTIVE_COMMAND_HERE]
MsgTemplate="5004683B080F"
TTR=1

and then add the following to KeyTBL.ini

118,"SENDMSG;iBusRR;UNIQUE_DESCRIPTIVE_COMMAND_HER E"
