Wow! Great news for sure! CDR took the code and went flash with itMeaning it can not be skinned. I have been hoping someone would take the code and leave it as it was originally written to work directly with RR's skins. Great work!

Great news ! That's the last piece missing on my CarPC.
There's a strong possibility things may be able to move forward with WM6 mobiles (not sure if it applies to WM5).
I've found some source code that appears able to connect to the SDP protocol and give access to the HeadsetAudioGateway for MS stack based dongles. There's no WidComm stack support, but that's in progress. My initial testing got blocked because I couldn't get a solid connection to this protocol, but this might be down to the phone already havng a headset paired with it (although not in proximity). I'll know more on Monday if this is the case.
I'm also getting hold of an old 6310i which was the same phone used by the original author to validate the recent heavy changes I've made to the program in terms of phone contacts. If I can verify that I haven't fundamentally broken anything, I'll do a release after testing/patching up for you guys to have a go at.
Thanks for the on-going support, I hope I can deliver something that more people can make use of before moving on to my next plugin (native audio player)

Every Future, Needs A Beginning
I chose my words carefully in the post, but the theories apply to any phone/dongle combination that supports the HeadsetAudioGateway protocol (WidComm stack support withstanding). I'm also skeptical of anything that claims to perform the number of functions required to implement this protocol - it's certainly a bit head doing reading up about the numerous protocols involved across all aspects of phone/bluetooth connectivity. But, I may ye be proven wrong, but I recall reading that there are actually about 3 different connections involved in Phone/Headset combination, something along the lines of:
RFCOMM: AT commands to control the modem
HeadSetAudioGateway: voice transfer
...and the 3rd that I've forgotten.
Anyway, far too much off-topic detail here... I may start another thread on Monday for the new app. if things go well.
