Alow me to throw-in a monkey-wrench - embedded art! This is how i have my library:
MUSIC
-CONTEMPORARY
--generic folder.jpg
--150 singles with embedded art
-ALBUMNAME1
--folder.jpg
--song1
--song2
-ALBUMNAME2
--folder.jpg
--song1
--song2
-NEW CONTEMPORARY
--generic folder.jpg
--75 singles with embedded art
Screwed-up i know.
In the normal audio browser only the generic folder.jpg and folder.jpg show even tho' all the tracks within the "contemporary" folders have embedded art.
In this browser, is shows the generic and folder.jpg's but also every single embedded art
When i click on one of the embedded art, it loads the entire folder as a playlist - which is fine.
No big deal. Other than that, it works flawless. Thanks.
Well I have this working nicely in my skin, thank you very very much. I made another popup screen for the genre selection which keeps the audio album browser looking tidy.
I have one question though, do you have label codes for each of the genres? ie for the button genrechoice;9 is there an equivalent lable code for this choice? Currently I just have it manually labeled as "=Rock" and it works fine but would need to be manually changed if I add/remove/rename a genre folder.
Also I noticed that if I select the Jazz genre, it gets all the "jazz" and all the "acid jazz" albums. Not a problem as I will just change the name of one of the folders slightly but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Thanks again for the great addition.
Unfortunately, no. Because different users will have different genres, I couldn't figure out a way to preset those genre labels w/o fixing the total number of genres and genre categories. So I left it up to you, the users, to setup your own genre categories.
Looks as if I just need to tighten up the filter criteria. Thanks for the heads up.

I have some problems to install the album browser.
The lines I have added to the execTBL. The files are now located at the skin (MMI) and I add the button "ALBUMARTVIEWER" to the menu.skin.
With a click on the button RR starts an another instance with a black vertical stripe??!!
THX, I had not the right path. (directory albumartviewer at skinpath, no directory ist recommend).
Sorry,The skinning with the albumartviewer is me too complicated. Too many buttons and settings. I get not running it in my HTPC Skin. The Coverbrowser was the best way, but it has no skinable buttons. So I have to live with the playlist.
